Custom development
If you can describe it, we can probably build it.
Calculators, booking tools, client portals and connections between the systems you already use. You get a fixed price before work starts, from $1,500.

Demo with made-up prices. Tools like this let customers see a price range on their own and come to you ready to talk.
What do people search when they need something built?
People rarely search for "custom development." They search for the outcome: "online booking for my business," "quote calculator for my website," "client portal for my customers," "send form data to a spreadsheet" or "connect my scheduling tool to my invoicing." The need is nearly always a manual task that eats hours.
Should you build it or buy it?
Start with whether a ready-made tool already does the job. A scheduling app, a form service or a spreadsheet automation often costs a few dollars a month and works the same day. We will tell you honestly if that is your answer.
Custom work makes sense when the tool is part of how you sell, such as an estimate that follows your own pricing rules, or when two systems you rely on do not talk to each other. Our fixed price starts from $1,500, and you see it before any work begins.
What should you write down first?
- Who uses it, and what they are trying to finish.
- What goes in and what comes out: the fields, the rules and the result.
- Where the information should go: your email, a spreadsheet or another system.
- What counts as done: three or four checks you can run yourself.
- Who keeps it running: and who pays if something changes later.
A one page brief like this is worth having even if you never hire us, since any builder will ask the same things.
What mistakes do custom projects run into?
- Starting without a written scope. The price grows because the target moves.
- Building features no one asked for. Begin with the smallest version that saves time.
- Not asking who owns the work, where it is hosted and what happens if the builder disappears. Ask for the answers in writing.
- Skipping testing with a real customer or employee.
- Forgetting upkeep. Tools that depend on other services need occasional attention.
Where does custom work show up?
Contractors often want estimate tools, such as a generator size guide for an electrical company or a rough range for a roof replacement. Stores may want custom product options; see online stores. For standard pages, our prices are posted. Describe your idea on our quote form or email hello@whitepineweb.com.
